What is the difference between a furnished apartment and a hotel?

A furnished apartment is not only more cost effective because it is booked for several weeks at a time and not just for days, but it is often a larger space with multiple rooms, includes a full kitchen and allows you to do laundry in-house. If you are staying in the area for more than 30 days, a furnished apartment is always a better value.

What do I get with a furnished apartment from Cosmopolitan?

We strive to ensure each of our guests is as comfortable as possible – a home away from home. To do this, we ensure each of our units is equipped with a full working kitchen – both large and small appliances. We provide all the linens and towels needed, a TV and audio system, all utilities including cable TV, phone line and WiFi and an in-house cleaning service.

How long can I stay in a Cosmopolitan suite?

All Cosmopolitan furnished apartments have a minimum stay of 30 days but no maximum stay if you decide you want to be in Toronto or the surrounding area for longer than your original intentions.

What sizes of apartments are available?

We have a wide variety of apartments available for our guests, ranging in size from 500 square feet to 1,400 square feet, perfect for single visitors or small families.

Where are you located? Can I choose between different locations easily?

We have buildings located throughout Toronto and the metropolitan area including downtown Toronto, Markham/Richmond Hill, North York, Scarborough and Midtown. Visit our locations page to see all furnished apartments.

Can I have pets?

Some of our complexes do allow pets, so please call and ask to learn more about which ones this applies to and what policies are involved.

Can I smoke?

There is no smoking in any of our furnished apartments.

When are payments do and how do I pay?

We accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as bank draft and certified cheque.

Who are your current clients?

A number of people stay with us at Cosmopolitan Suites including transferees moving into the area and still searching for apartments, displaced insurance claims still in need of temporary housing and vacationers spending 30 days or more in Toronto and the surrounding area.

Do you offer in-house services to help me settle in?

Yes. Each of our buildings is fully serviced, meaning you have all of the amenities needed to start living in the building right away. We also offer in-house cleaning services and have attendants on staff to help with various tasks as needed.

Do you require a deposit when booking?

Yes, all bookings require a $500 deposit in advance of your stay.

What makes Cosmopolitan suites different from other companies?

What types of appliances and electronics are available?

Each unit comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/range, clothes washer and dryer, toaster and coffee maker.

Can I have guests in my apartment?

We do allow limited number of guests depending on size/type of suite in any of our apartments but they are not allowed to stay overnight.

Are your apartments family friendly?

Our furnished apartments are intended to match the needs of anyone visiting the area for any length of time. So, we are proud to ensure that each unit is fully family friendly for you and your children.
