WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FURNISHED APARTMENT AND A HOTEL?
A furnished apartment is usually more cost effective because it is generally booked for at least several weeks at a time and not just for days. It is also usually a larger space with multiple rooms, including a fully equipped kitchen and allows you to do laundry in-house. If you are staying in the area for more than 30 days, a furnished apartment is almost always a better value.
WHAT DO I GET WITH A FURNISHED APARTMENT FROM COSMOPOLITAN?
We strive to ensure that each of our guests is as comfortable as possible – in a home away from home. To do this, we ensure that each of our units is equipped with a full kitchen with both large and small appliances, all linens and towels needed, a TV and audio system, all utilities including cable TV, all furnishings, a phone line, high-speed Internet, in-house cleaning service, and terrific building facilities such as a fitness room and swimming pool in some buildings.
HOW LONG CAN I STAY IN A COSMOPOLITAN FURNISHED APARTMENT?
All Cosmopolitan furnished apartments have a minimum stay of 30 days but no maximum stay if you decide you want to be in Toronto or the surrounding area for longer than your original intentions.
WHAT SIZES OF APARTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE?
We have a wide variety of apartments available for our guests, ranging in size from 500 square feet to 1,400 square feet, perfect for individual visitors or small families.
WHERE ARE YOUR APARTMENTS LOCATED?
We have apartments in buildings located throughout downtown Toronto and one in midtown Toronto, all in prime locations.
CAN I HAVE PETS?
Some of our complexes do allow pets, so please contact us to learn more about which ones allow pets and building policies in this regard.
CAN I SMOKE?
No, sorry. Smoking is not permitted in any of our furnished apartments.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT AND WHEN ARE PAYMENTS DUE?
We accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express as well as bank draft and certified cheque. Payments are due 7 days before each 30 day cycle begins.
WHO ARE YOUR CURRENT CLIENTS?
A variety of people stay with us at Cosmopolitan Furnished Suites, including corporate travelers, vacationers, transferees moving into the area while still searching for a permanent apartment, those displaced due to insurance claims in need of temporary housing, and more. In short, anyone looking to spend 30 days or more in Toronto and the surrounding area.
DO YOU OFFER IN-HOUSE SERVICES TO HELP ME SETTLE IN?
Yes. Each of our buildings is fully serviced, meaning you have all of the amenities needed to start living in the building right away. We also offer in-house cleaning services and have attendants on staff to help with small tasks as needed.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT WHEN BOOKING?
Yes, all bookings require a $500 deposit in advance of your stay.

WHAT TYPES OF APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS ARE AVAILABLE?
Each unit comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/range, clothes washer and dryer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.

Our furnished apartments are intended to match the needs of anyone visiting the area for any length of time. So, we are proud to ensure that each unit is fully family friendly for you and your children.
